Integrate with javan/whenever for setting up cron jobs
Whenever gem makes it easy to describe cron jobs (schedule, server roles) and these descriptions are stored in the project repo. Cloud66 could read the config/schedule.rb file to automatically update cron on deploys.

Load Balancer on Linode should use Linode's NoadBalancer
Adding a load balancer when using linode currently fires up a new Linode and installs HAProxy. This is a single point of failure, whereas a Linode NoadBalancer is built with redundancy in place.

allow for a failover data center
you could setup your primary and then you could have a different availability zone or different cloud provider for failover. The slave db could be setup to replicate and the slave instances would get code updates but may be spun down to save money. Then if anything happens to primary the slave could be spun up and take over. It would be nice if you could support route53 and transition the dns as well.

Allow running Redis on DB server
For small deployments where there is little risk of the DB-server running low on resources, it would be nice to be able to use the same server for Redis, as running a dedicated instance for redis can be a bit overkill
