  2. allow uplading database backup in UI

    Hi. When migrating to cloud66 from other provider, an option to upload database dump in UI, which would then be restored in the database would be very helpful. Uploading and restoringvia ssh is really troublesome

  3. Campfire notification

    We're using iftt on email to post campfire notifications from cloud66 alerts but it has quite a big delay. Would be nice to have native support for campfire notifications.

  5. Non-default port for ssh on own server

    I wanted to deploy an app to my own server, but cloud66 couldn't connect to it because the port ssh runs on my machine is not 22.

  6. Enable EncFS

    It'd be nice if I could enable an add-on to place all files, especially database files, on an encrypted (EncFS) volume.

    This would automatically settle (parts of) HIPAA-like compliance without having to implement encryption in individual software layers. Having the entire VPS volume encrypted using EncFS is transparent to userland. The data on disk is encrypted, the data in RAM is decrypted. It should actually probably be a default setting, as unencrypted data on disk can be read by the VPS provider.

    The downside is that the key must be provided on boot; the encrypted volume won't mount without it.…

  8. Speed up DNS updates

    I am testing my DNS server name 2hr 50minutes after the server was created and it still does not resolve:

  9. Enable autocomplete at signup form

    It's just one field, namely the email, but I tend to just close sites that disallow autocompletion. Why put obstacles in your potential customer's way?

  10. Upload Error

    Hi,

    I am having the exact same issue on both an iMac running Sierra and a Windows PC running Windows 7. My co-worker (who is in a different location so it is NOT a connection error) is also unable to upload large files. We both tried to upload files that were 800+MB and the upload immediately fails and said "Unable to upload. Lost connection."

  11. Revive the Cloud66 mobile app, with a focus on system administration

    The previous mobile app seemed to be more of a full port of the website to mobile.

    What I would love to see is a mobile app that focuses on:
    * Stack status - container and VM telemetry
    * SSH access - make it easy to remotely and securely start an SSH session with a container or VM
